Overview
Experience climbimg the highest and oldet dunes in the world as well as visit the Etosha National Park with its animal kingdom and the wetland of the Okavango Delta, the Chobe National Park and the falling curtain of water in the largest Falls in the Vicktoria Falls in an eye wink.
Itinerary
Arriving at the Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be met by your representative or guide. Introduction will take place afterwards you will leave for the City, Windhoek is the capital City of Namibia situated 45 km from the Hosea Kutako International airport, A cosmopolitan yet distinctive African city kaleidoscope of modern an traditional cultures and architectural style buildings. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring the city on foot. A short City Tour will be conducted to familiarize yourself.
You will be collected between 08:00 & 08:30.
We travel out over the Eros Mountains and along scenic roads, on our way south-west to the desert. We also pass over part of the Naukluft Mountains the Khomas Hochland range on our journey today and head down from Namibia’s central plateau by way of the beautiful Remhoogte Pass. Coming out of the mountains we reach open plains and from here it is only a short distance to our next stop, the
tiny town of Solitaire. We will stop here for some refreshments before continuing on through desert scenery. We cross some open grass savannah and farmlands before the terrain begins to give way to the immense red sand dune desert of the Namib.
We aim to arrive at our camp during the late afternoon and watch the colors glow and change on distant mountains to the east.
A pre dawn start is essential this morning as we want to catch the soft light of the sunrise on the desert as we drive-in. We will arrive at the entrance to the dunes on sunrise and then travel through the dune field as the sun is coming up. The light casts strong contrasts of color on the edges of the dunes and offers stunning views from the dry river bed you travel through.
We reach Sossusvlei itself by walking the last 5 km through the dunes. The walk is like nothing else, enjoying the changing light and coolness of the morning. Ancient mineral pans, stunted camel thorn trees and the chance of seeing a gemsbok or maybe an ostrich make the photo opportunities perfect.
We spend the morning in and around Sossusvlei, also visiting dune 45, and as the day wears on we return to Sesriem for lunch to escape the heat of the afternoon. afternoon we will take a short excursion to the Sesriem Canyon
Traversing towards Swakopmund through the dry Namib Naukluft, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn as well as stopping enroute in Walvis Bay where, if we are fortunate, we will be able to see flamingos that inhabit the zone before continuing the coastal town Swakopmund.
Swakopmund, a pleasant city of German style situated exactly between the desert and the sea. Large beach, simple shops and good sea food restaurants are to be found here, there are various activities that can be done in this city. Such as Quad biking, sandboarding, parachuting in the dunes, scenic flights, catamaran, etc. Just inform your tour leader or Tour guide in advance.
We will begin the day early in direction to the Etosha National Park, where we will enjoy one of the places of Africa for animal observation. Etosha is an extraordinary wildlife area, set amongst long stretches of arid savannah and scattered with waterholes, salt pans and lush woodlands attracting a wide variety of game. It dominated by the shining and white salty plain we will have the opportunity to see elephants, lions, orix, kudu, springbok, zebras, giraffes, etc. and with a lot of luck we will be able to see white or black rhinoceroses, and leopards.
The two Days will be spend doing safaris in the park as well as visiting waterholes ,where animals come to drink water.
After early breakfast, we will exit the park game driving towards the northern part of Namibia, we will be travelling most of the time, today to arrive before sunset at our destination, situated at the start of the famous Okavango Delta, with its start in Namibia, we will be accommodated at the river bed. Crossing small villages of the Okavango people, we will have stops visiting one of the local villages, getting to learn the culture and traditions of the people Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring the surrounding area, Seeing our first glimpse of the crystal waters through the lush vegetation we make our way to our overnight camp
A change in vegetation heralds our arrival on the very western edge of one of the natural wonders of the world, the Okavango Delta. With its crystal clear fast flowing channels of water tunneling their way papyrus, reeds and tall swamp grass, filled with water lilies elegantly swaying with the flow. The Okavango Delta covers an area of 16000km2. Seeing our first glimpse of the crystal waters through the lush vegetation we make our way to our overnight camp. The following morning we leave our vehicle behind and have our journey in boat cruise on the Kwando River Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the surrounding area.
Kasane is a small and attractive border town situated between Chobe and Victoria Falls and is very popular for travelers. Kansan’s two main attractions are its excellent fishing and the Chobe National Park, the park does not have a fence, and therefore provides animals roaming around freely. During the afternoon, you will embark on a afternoon boat cruise in the Chobe river, where you will have an excellent bird watching as well as have a closer look at the hippos and the elephants. Spend the rest of the day at leisure
To day we head into Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is known as the largest curtain of falling water in the world stretching 1708m across. There are various activities to embark with such as water rafting, sky diving, etc spend the rest of the days at leisure exploring the town and what it has to offer

Today you will be transferred to the Airport after breakfast on time for your outbound flight.
